The White Walker

I am the Shadowed Sovereign, keeper of this realm's memory, and of all the houses I keep, none has said less and meant more than this one. Its lord speaks so rarely in the halls that the realm has never once heard him raise his voice, and yet his name sits in the record beside the Throne. He began as the Young Shark, circling the middle of the league and waiting, and he was patient in a way the others mistook for sleep. Beyond the Wall, the cold does not announce itself. It simply arrives, and then it does not leave.

The early years were spent in the most dangerous place in dynasty, the middle. In the first season he went to the playoffs, only to fall to the Mand'alor by four points in the first round, and so began a rivalry that has only grown with the years. The next year he knocked his own brother out of the playoffs before the Mand'alor stopped him again by more than twenty. Then came two lean seasons, and the realm wrote him off. It should not have, for the Young Shark had begun to hoard. He sold the veterans, bought first-round picks, and gathered more of them than the realm had ever seen, including six of the first sixteen selections in the draft of the Legacy Year.

The cold arrived on schedule. He took a new name, the White Walker, and with a team that had been built in the dark he reached the championship in 2023 and battled Braveheart for the Iron Throne, but he lost. He came back the next year with the best record in the realm, and after beating the Mand'alor in a war decided by four points and a kicker, he made it back to the championship for a battle the realm calls The Rematch, against Braveheart once more. This time the White Walker won, and he took the throne as the Fifth King. Winter had come. The year after, his run ended in the first round, where he lost to the Mand'alor. To close out the Legacy Year, the White Walker is looking to bring winter back to the realm and to take the throne again. The season is still being played, and its story is not yet written, but I am always watching, and there's a chill in the air. Winter is coming once more.
